Most products are designed by our in-house design team, exclusive to Smith+Noble, and all are made-to-order for each customer. Smith+Noble provides the do-it-yourself customer a wide variety of product options and tools to make buying custom window treatments simple. In addition, Smith+Noble offers in-home services for consumers seeking additional assistance with whole home measuring, professional installation and full-service design consulting to help find the right product for their home and lifestyle needs.

Who We're Looking For:

An individual with strong detailed process skills and a passion to support a positive HR presence. Someone who is enthusiastic and professional that can display strong organization skills including written and oral communication. Have a “Do whatever it takes” attitude; be responsible, dependable, time manageable, analytical, detail-oriented and accurate.

  • Responsibilities

      Administrative:

    • Creating and updating HR operating forms and processes
    • Work with HR Director as needed in employee engagement
    • Oversee New Hire organization, planning and track on boarding
    • Creating HR reports and other organizational projects
    • Filing paperwork/electronic and other duties as assigned


    • Generalist:

    • Supports S+N HR by assisting/implementing human resources programs
    • Provide human resources, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, AA/EEO compliance, and completing personnel transactions
    • Manages s+n expectations by meeting deadlines, giving project status and issues; preparing reports
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing
    • adherence to requirements
    • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
    • Required Education and Experience:

      • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources
      • 2-4 plus years of progressive experience in Human Resources positions
      • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs
      • Present strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, time management, analytical ability, organization and attention to detail
      • Proficient in MS Word (Developer a plus), Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
      • Working knowledge of ADP payroll system or comparable HRIS systems
