| How to Choose Geometrics |

Narrowing your choices is the only challenging part to ordering a custom Geometrics rug. You may find yourself tempted by each of the nine patterns inspired by global architecture and all the many sophisticated colors. In keeping with their worldly style, Geometrics rugs come finished with a tailored, color-coordinated binding, or with a solid-toned border.

Select your favorite pattern.
|
Architecturally inspired Swirl, Eclipse, Mosaic, Newport and Modernaire have distinct attributes as well as textures. Scattered Leaves has a texture influenced by botanical motifs. Determine the one best suited to your space, be it a room for serious thought or one for casual entertainment.

Pick a color.
|
Light or deep-toned, warm or cool, each shade in our expanded palette has been hand-picked by our experts to add visual appeal to your room designs. A tailored binding of color-coordinated cotton will finish the perimeter.

Select your shape.
|
Decide on the look of your rug. Choose from a standard square or rectangle, or decide on a circle, oval, octagon, arch, quarter-circle or a special cut. Our rounded-corner square or rectangular rugs can add a softer, contoured effect to your surroundings. We can custom-make your rug in virtually any shape you choose.

Select your size.
|
Decide on the dimensions of the rug you want, and give us the exact measurements. Provide the shortest and longest measurements when ordering squares, ovals, or octagons. For circles, measure the diameter. When choosing quarter circles, provide the radius. Octagons, arches and special cuts require some additional measurements (see the illustrations in our online Order Guide.) Please note: the maximum size is 144" x 360".

Decide on a border.
|
Geometrics rugs in most shapes are available with or without a border. Rugs without borders will be neatly tailored with a coordinating binding. If you choose the optional border, 18 solid border colors are available. The border width will vary from 3" to 12" and will be proportioned to the size of the rug.

Consider a rug pad.
|
A custom rug is an important investment. You can protect both your rug and your floor by ordering an optional pad. Pads keep a rug in place, offer support and shock absorbency and help ventilate your rug. With a rug pad it's easier to vacuum, so dirt is more easily removed. Rug pads also protect your floors.
