Internet Explorer version 5.0 or newer
1. Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
2. Click "Security" tab
3. Select "Internet" from the "Select a Web content zone...window
4. Select "Medium Security Level"*
5. Click "OK" to close the Security Settings dialog box
6. Click "OK" to close the Internet Options dialog box
7. Return to the home page
8. Click "Refresh" to re-load the smith+noble home page
*If the "Medium Security Level" is not available, click the "Default Level" button. This will automatically set the security level to medium. Internet Explorer version 4.0 - 4.x
1. Select "Internet Options" from the View menu
2. Select the "Advanced" tab
3. Scroll to the security/cookies section
4. Select "Always accept cookies"
5. Click "OK" to close the Internet Options dialog
6. Return to the home page
7. Click "Refresh" to re-load the smith+noble home page Netscape version 6.0 or newer
Enabling cookies
1. Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu
2. Select "Privacy and Security" and click the triangle to expand the list
3. Select "Cookies"
4. Choose "Enable all cookies" from the Cookie Acceptance Policy box
Enable JavaScript
5. Select the "Advanced" from the category list
6. Check "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript for Navigator"
7. Click "OK" to close the Preferences dialog box
8. Return to the home page
9. Click "Refresh" to re-load the smith+noble home page Netscape version 4.0 - 5.x
1. Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu
2. Select "Advanced" from the category menu
3. Select "Accept all cookies"
4. Select "Enable Javascript"
5. Click "OK" to close the Preferences dialog box
6. Return to the home page
7. Click "Refresh" to re-load the smith+noble home page
