Creating a Beautifully Coordinated Look In Your Home

COLOR & TEXTURE FOR THE WIN

At S&N, we curate our products so that they do work together, no matter what you choose, and it's simple to create a cohesive look.

CONNECT THE DOTS

The secret? Choosing just a few colors, patterns and textures, and carrying them from room to room. Our team chose a limited palette of blue hues mixed with linen textures to create a casual and calm ambiance. Let's take a tour.

Entry way

A small sitting area off the entry features our exclusive new linen-textured Wood Blinds with a ladder tape in Linen/Steel. The introduction of pillows in a solid blue-green fabric, complemented by a single pillow featuring an Ikat pattern in muted tones of blue introduce the color story chosen for this home.

Kitchen

The kitchen has linen-textured Fabric Shades finished with ribbon banding, in stripes of blue. Simple repetition of color and texture continues the design flow into the kitchen connecting each space.

Dining Nook

At the other end of the kitchen, a dining nook is used daily. Sheer Natural Woven Shades finished with dark blue edge binding maintain the linen texture theme, but add interest to what could be a cold space. The Pillows help reinforce the blue color story and further soften the space.

Formal Dining Room

The dining room had specific light control needs, solved for by linen-textured Luxe Linen Light-Filtering Honeycomb Shades in Taupe. Drapes in an Ikat pattern soften the windows and add drama to the space.

Living Room

Featuring the same large French doors and windows as the nearby dining room, this room also benefited from the drama of Drapes. Rather than simply match the Ikat fabric in the dining room, our team chose a navy linen texture for the fabric and added ribbon banding in a blue-and-white pattern. The textured sheer layer underneath keeps glare out during the day, when the draperies are open.

Master Bedroom

The sitting area in the master bedroom has Wood Blinds featuring our Tuscan finish. Pillows in a few shades of blue reinforce the theme. Switching around Pillows from room to room will provide a quick refresh for any space. Adding a Bed Scarf is also an easy way to refresh or connect a whole home look.
