How our guarantee works

  • If your order meets the eligibility terms of our guarantee and is not received and/or installed before Nov. 26 or December 25, we will happily refund any items not received or installed, plus your processing charges.
  • Guarantee excludes the following:
  • Sale items, Eco-Wood Shutters, Uptown Shutters, Specialty Shutters, Classic, Cambria, FR and Kids Collection Cellular Shade Collections, Specialty Shape Cellular Shades, Vertical Sheer Shadings, Crystal Hardware Batons, Sundry Hardware, Smart|Shades and Smart|Shades peripherals, oversized products and products upgraded with fire-resistant treatment.
  • Orders shipped to AK and HI.
  • Out of stock and backordered items. On very rare occasions, items may go out of stock or be backordered, after your order is placed.
  • Orders that contain 20 or more units of the same product.
  • Orders including drapes and hardware, in the event that the hardware cannot be installed for any reason.
  • Orders for which delivery and/or installation are delayed by factors beyond our control, including, but not limited to:
  • Weather
  • Pandemic
  • Civil unrest
  • Strikes
  • Natural disasters
  • Customs clearance delays
  • Carrier loss of shipment or shipping weight limitations
  • Orders delivered to the wrong address
  • War, including tariff war
  • Any other acts of God
  • Orders for which the carrier confirms unsuccessful delivery attempts by the delivery date.
  • Orders for which we offer you the opportunity to select an available installation appointment before the holiday, but you prefer and select an installation date after the holiday.
  • If a product that was originally eligible for the guarantee has to be remade, adjusted or re-installed for any reason, including missing parts, we will make every effort to get it installed before the holiday, but if we cannot, it will not be eligible for the guarantee and will not be refunded.
  • If your building requires insurance, or has work hour restrictions, we will make every effort to install your product before the holiday, but if we cannot, it will not be eligible for the guarantee and will not be refunded.
  • Tips for appointments

    To find available times and book an appointment, visit Smith & Noble Services at least two weeks before your desired appointment time, to ensure that your in-home design or measuring appointment will be completed in time for you to place your order by the holiday order deadline.

    We’ll email you to schedule an installation appointment when your order ships. We recommend that you book your installation appointment online or call us as soon as you receive our email, in order to enable installation on your preferred date.

    Tips for SHIPPING

    Second day air delivery is not available for all products. Please call us to determine whether it is available for the products you wish to order.
