If your order meets the eligibility terms of our guarantee and is not delivered and/or installed before Nov. 24 [or December 25], we will happily refund your installation fees for orders we install or processing fees for orders you install yourself. Trade customers will receive processing fee refunds.

- Sale items; Shutters and Specialty Shutters; Specialty Shape and Vertical Cellular Shades; Vertical Sheer Shades; Drapes with memory stitch; Roman Shades, Fabric Cornices and Fabric Valances with continuous pattern match; Faux Wood Blinds; oversized products and products treated with Scotchgard™.
- Orders shipped to AK and HI.
- Out of stock and backordered items. Please note: On very rare occasions, items may go out of stock or be backordered, after your order is placed.
- Orders that contain 20 or more units of the same product.
- Orders including drapes and hardware, in the event that the hardware cannot be installed for any reason.
- Orders for which delivery and/or installation are delayed by factors beyond our control, including, but not limited to:
- Weather
- Pandemic
- Civil unrest
- Strikes
- Natural disasters
- Supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, truck driver shortages, and shipping equipment shortages / limitations
- Customs clearance delays
- Carrier loss of shipment
- Orders delivered by carrier to the wrong address
- War, including tariff war
- Any other acts of God
- Smart Shades Smart Hub requires 2.4GHz wireless band for initial pairing and set up. The 2.4GHz wireless band must be configured prior to your installation date.
- Orders for which the carrier confirms unsuccessful delivery attempts prior to the promised delivery date.
- Orders for which we offer you the opportunity to select an available installation appointment before the holiday, but for which you prefer and select an installation date after the holiday.
- If a product that was originally eligible for the guarantee has to be remade, adjusted or re-installed for any reason, including missing parts, we will make every effort to have it installed before the holiday. If we are unsuccessful, the product will not be eligible for the guarantee and fees will not be refunded.
- If your building requires insurance, or has work hour restrictions, we will make every effort to install your product before the holiday, but if we cannot, it will not be eligible for the guarantee.
APPOINTMENT TIPS
To find available times and book an appointment, visit smithandnoble.com/inhomedesign at least two weeks before your desired appointment time, to ensure that your in-home design, phone design or measuring appointment will be completed in time for you to place your order by the holiday order deadline.
We’ll email you to schedule an installation appointment when your order ships. We recommend that you book your installation appointment online or call us as soon as you receive our email, to enable installation on your preferred date.
